Getting to Boyne

Boyne Blueway is located in County Meath in Ireland’s Ancient East, with Trim serving as the main access point for exploring the route. From this historic town, visitors can experience the River Boyne by water and enjoy close connections to Trim Castle, riverside walks and the wider Boyne Valley heritage landscape. Nearby Bective also forms part of the Blueway experience, linking the route to its remarkable monastic setting.

By Car

From Dublin, take the M3 motorway towards Navan, exiting for Trim. Follow local signage to Trim town and the Boyne Blueway access points along the River Boyne.
